Neil Coombs, CPHR and SHRM-SCP: Partner & Principal Consultant
Neil is a Human Resources professional with 20 years of progressive experience in private and public sector organizations at varying stages of growth. An experienced business leader and entrepreneur, Neil has managed executive recruitment for clients and employers in a broad range of industries. His passion is in helping drive the culture and success of professional firms. Neil prides himself on an ability to create and maintain relationships, understanding the needs of the organization and the people who work there. As a senior HR resource, Neil helps organizations improve performance by placing exceptional people in positions that align with their capabilities and career objectives.
In addition to his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Memorial University, Neil is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Neil plays an active role in shaping the national HR landscape as the current Chair of the Board of Directors of CPHR Canada. He is also a Past Chair of CPHR Newfoundland and Labrador. Neil has held several volunteer positions on NL based HR advisory boards. He volunteers as a hockey coach and with several local community organizations.

Stephanie is a skilled Human Resources professional with more than 8 years of experience, primarily focused in civil and residential construction. Having held progressively senior roles with large construction firms, Stephanie joined the Higher Talent team in 2019 as a Human Resources Consultant. Her areas of expertise include recruitment, performance management and talent development. Stephanie is a strategic and energetic leader, who is passionate about what she does; helping people, teams and companies achieve their business objectives through forward-thinking HR management.
Dr. Susan Murray: Leadership and HR Strategy Consultant
Susan is an experienced leadership and HR strategies professional with over twenty-five years of experience. She specializes in Training, Performance Evaluation, Talent Management, Policy Development and Leadership Development. She is a recognized Excellence Expert and has led several teams for Excellence Assessments in the UAE. She continues to be involved in projects related to Change Management, Leadership and HR. As a consultant and advisor, she has worked on projects related to innovation, finance and technology. In her senior role with the public education system, she was responsible for strategic planning, policy development, Human Resources, particularly leadership recruitment and development. She continues to lead and engage others with a clear focus on success. Susan is a guest lecturer at the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto) in Executive Leadership and lectures in policy, organizational strategy and leadership and Memorial University, in Canada.
Susan holds a Doctorate in Leadership from the Henley Business School, UK. Susan’s clients are across many sectors, including governments and both private and public institutions. These include the municipal and federal governments of China, the Prime Minister’s Office of United Arab Emirates, the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai, the Public Secretariat of Ontario, and the Industrial Bank of China (ICBC) along with a wide range of private clients across Canada and the United States. She is a Fellow and Chief Research Officer of the Business Excellence Institute. At the local level, Susan is Chair of the KidsEatSmart Foundation and works with local companies on leadership and business development.
