Higher Talent and Jump Recruitment remain focused on post-pandemic success with Geoff Davis
joining the team as Senior Advisor, Business Development.
February 24, 2021 – St. John’s, NL – Despite ongoing fiscal and pandemic-related challenges in Newfoundland and Labrador, Higher Talent and Jump Recruitment believe there’s a bright future for the province and across Canada and want to be part of the process of identifying the talent that companies need to get there. As a part of this forward-looking vision, Higher Talent has brought on Geoff Davis as Senior Advisor, Business Development. In this advisory role, Geoff will bring his extensive business experience to Higher Talent and Jump Recruitment with a focus on providing strategic assistance to clients in both the public and private sectors. “Geoff’s broad executive and board experience will enable us to fulfill our current and future clients’ needs as it relates to our Executive Search practice,” said Scott Giannou, President and CEO, Higher Talent Inc. “The equity and integrity that Geoff brings to the table will help all pillars of our business, but especially the executive search piece.”
Higher Talent and Jump Recruitment partner with clients to create a workplace that inspires the best in people, and ultimately a culture that encourages success. During a time of significant change for many businesses, with work from home becoming common and traditional channels for hiring shifting, a service focused on assessing the effectiveness of an organization’s Human Resource practices, and experience in addressing issues that impact workplaces has never been more relevant. There’s no better example of this than our emphasis on attracting and identifying talent for the province’s flourishing technology sector.
“Developing and hiring the right talent is vital for organizational renewal and growth, especially in a post-pandemic world” said Geoff Davis. “I’m looking forward to assisting both Higher Talent and Jump Recruitment to meet their clients’ needs.”
The organizational renewal and modernization that will result from the ongoing economic impacts in our province will lead to opportunities. Scott, Geoff, and the entire Higher Talent Inc. team are focused on helping clients find the right people and a path forward as people change roles or retire, the economy shifts towards drivers like technology, and the needs of traditional industries like energy, healthcare, and the public sector evolve.
“After two years of COVID-19 related disruption, when we come out the other end, it will change how we approach our business,” said Geoff Davis. “There’s a spectrum of change for all organizations – everything from working from home and digital transformation to an increased emphasis on the health of employees – Higher Talent’s objective is to help organizations plan for that successful future of work.”
